  • Seasonal flowers for mothers everywhere

Mothers are like the spring - bringing new life into the world. Our illustration of these early-season native flowers herald the true arrival of spring and are full of joy and optimism. A perfect card for a mother who is partial to a spot of gardening or loves wild flowers.

    Featuring botanicals:

Coltsfoot - part of the daisy family, with vibrant yellow flowers. Since ancient times used to treat coughs, colds and all lung conditions and was synonymous with medicine in Paris.

Periwinkle - also a highly prized medical plant, the lore of periwinkles expanded so that they became a symbol of both immortality (it is evergreen) and love between husband and wife (it easily twines).

Lesser Celandine - A favourite of the poet Wordsworth, these cheerful flowers are deeply connected to the sun - they only show their yellow blooms between the hours of 9 and 5pm and in perfect sunshine. Otherwise you will see their beautiful blossoms shut, waiting for the light.
